Hello, my name is John Baucum. I have been teaching music lessons for 40 years. I am the author of
60 Seconds Can Change Your Life: A Fresh Approach to Learning the Guitar.
For beginners to advanced players. Great for all ages! From 4 years old to seniors. Specializing in fun, engaging lessons that challenge students to strive for excellence. All styles taught: Rock, Blues, Finger style, Solo Guitar, Bluegrass and more. Practical theory, ear training, and technique exercises help students reach their musical goals.
My goal is for students to have a fun time while they learn to play a musical instrument. I strive
to give the students a musical education in addition to helping them reach the goals they have set
for themselves.

- Ear Training: ability to hear a song in your head or on the radio, and decipher the
